The Chicks postpone Los Angeles show hours before curtain

Why the show moved at the last minute

The Chicks called off their scheduled performance at the Hollywood Dolby Theatre just hours before doors were set to open. The trio cited illness as the reason for the abrupt cancellation. The group announced the change on Monday, November 2, and moved the concert to Wednesday, November 4. Ticket holders will have their original purchases honored for the new date.

The decision came with very little warning, catching many fans off guard. The band stated that a member fell ill, making it impossible to perform as planned. This type of late cancellation is rare for a major touring act. The group emphasized that all valid tickets remain good for the rescheduled date. Fans who could not attend the new date were offered a refund option.

What this means for ticket holders

If you hold a ticket for the original Monday show, it automatically transfers to the Wednesday performance. No action is needed from your end. The venue will honor the ticket without requiring a rebooking step. This policy removes the hassle of re-purchasing.

Can I get a refund if I cannot make the new date? Yes. The band offered a refund window for those who cannot attend on November 4. You must request the refund within the stated deadline.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why was the cancellation announced so late? The illness struck close to showtime. The group chose to inform fans as soon as it became clear the performance could not proceed. This minimized the gap between announcement and rescheduling.
