Adapting the Third Novel for Television

Disney+ has confirmed that Percy Jackson and the Olympianswill feature all twelve major Greek gods together in its upcoming third season. This major television milestone marks the first time the complete Pantheon of Olympus will appear simultaneously in a live-action adaptation of Rick Riordan's bestselling young adult book series.

The initial season proved to be a steady success for Disney, securing a dedicated audience of both longtime book fans and new viewers. Production has steadily progressed, building anticipation for how the streaming series will handle its increasingly expansive mythological cast.

Season 3 will tackle the narrative events of the third book in Riordan's literary franchise. The narrative requires the council of the gods to convene, creating a crucial turning point in the overarching battle against ancient mythological forces.
